About Us

Founded in 1972, RW Pencil Supply has been supplying quality pencils to our customers for over 50 years.

RW Pencil Supply was founded in 1972 in Laporte, IN by Bill Simms, a school teacher desperate for good quality pencils. The RW name came from the first initial of each of his sons. Once Bill retired, this became his full-time job.

In 1996, the business was bought by Allen & Joyce Clark (my parents) and moved to Cape Girardeau, MO. During this time, their product line expanded to more than just pencils and the company was renamed RW School Supply.

I purchased the business with my husband, Travis, in 2022 and took the business back to its roots of RW Pencil Supply. I’m thrilled to be able to carry on the family tradition as this business was a huge part of my childhood. We’re excited to share these same memories with our daughters as well!

Pencil Colors

Our pencils are available in a wide range of colors, but not every color shade or gradient. The color you see on your screen may vary from the actual color of the pencil. We guarantee that the pencil is the color you ordered (red, blue, green, etc.). We cannot guarantee that the color will be the shade you are trying to complement.

Return Policy

All returns must be pre approved!

You can return your product for store credit or a different product due to a manufacturing defect. We must be notified via email of this defect within 5 days of receipt. You will be responsible for all shipping charges related to a return, unless caused by us. Return items must be returned in it's original packaging.

Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:

Custom imprints are final and cannot be returned or exchanged. Please proofread your imprint before submitting. If we make a mistake on your pencil order, we will promptly correct the problem.
